Grundig and the DS2 format
Grundig adopted the DS2 format for the Digta range, the same proprietary codec used by Olympus professional recorders. DS2 files cannot be opened by standard media players or most cloud transcription services without a licensed decoder.
We open DS2 and DSS files directly. Send the file as it came off the Digta. No conversion to MP3, no Grundig STARFISH software required on your side.
