DS2 files: the format most US services don't open
DS2 is the proprietary Olympus format used by the DS-9500, DS-9000 and other current recorders. It requires a licensed decoder to open. Major US transcription services do not list DS2 support on their public format pages.
We open DS2 and DSS files directly. Send the file as it came off the recorder. No conversion to MP3, no extra software.
See the DS2 file guide for more on the format and which recorders use it.
