Voice memo to typed letter

A handheld dictation recorder is not always to hand. Many lawyers, adjusters and consultants now dictate on their phone using the built-in voice recorder or the Apple Voice Memos app.

Phone recordings save as M4A or MP3 depending on the device and app. Both formats come back as a finished letter on your letterhead. No conversion needed.

Quiet dictation into the phone's microphone from arm's length gives clear audio. If you dictate in the car, use a Bluetooth headset or hold the phone close.
